Not giving up take 2

Hello once again running buddies, back on it once again, had a new socket since my last attempt, it's a much better fit than previous ones 😀, so after this morning's cardio workout I felt good so I thought rest and a drink then let's have a look at C2 5k again, so download app to new phone and off I went on treadmill, managed just over half of W1 R1, before Stu the Stump started moaning, so stopped there so as not to upset him (I do rely on him) will just have to build him up slowly.

Really happy with that.

The great thing about this programme is that it's always there waiting for you and there's no rush 😊

Lovely that you're back Petem56 , and the new socket sounds promising. Good decision re taking it gradually with Stu the Stump - he needs to know his place and not mess you around. Wishing you a happy return to C25K! 😀👍

Well done, Pete. Good to see you back.

As we all know, slow and steady is the only sustainable way forward.

Just sending massive good wishes for your running. It sounds like you’re being super sensible taking it slow. Looking forward to reading your updates.

Well done...very impressed. Slowly does it and look after the body. As you say he is carting you around.👍🏻Great to see you return.

That's great , best to take it slow and steady. I was just about to start running again (back to W1R1 of Couch to 5K) but I have got Covid so will be delayed a bit longer although after a couple of years break I don't think another couple of week will be a problem.

I’m so glad you are planning to start again, we might be able to encourage each other but I think mine might take 9 months not weeks🙄, it might take a week or more just to complete W1 R1.
