Hi everyone!!
Back in a strange city again...work stuff....I took my gear and after waking up early (5am...ish) feeling too heavy to move, I finally did.
I walked through the city centre to try to find a long road to use and just (about) at the right time Laura said, "Off you go!"
I felt so heavy but recongise from running decades ago that sometimes your body can be less up for excercise on some occasions than others!!! So I just went with it, slow enough but fast enough to not get passed by walkers!?!. By the end I felt a little lighter - not much - but I had lifted my spirit!
I love starting the day this way, it feels great and means I have more vitality during the rest of the day. Thanks to this group I'm still going and it's thank to this group that I am convinced of the benefits of dynamic and static stretches. I suffered for a looooong time with injuries and so far I just feel better each time I go out....well afterwards anyway!!?! π€£
