It was a bit cooler this morning so off I went at 6.50 (not bad for a holiday start time!) There were four kestrels feeding over the long grass in front of the Tempelhof airport building - sadly this is where all the skylarks are nesting at the moment.
I'm really enjoying the Stepping Stones podcast, and there was a slight breeze this morning which made for a much more comfortable run. I really enjoyed it and didn't end up looking quite so tomato-based as on previous runs!
Back to the UK tomorrow so my next run will be in Essex. I'm interested to see whether my time will have improved - it's a 15 min walk to Tempelhof Feld so I'm not able to judge whether I'm running quicker, slower or what!
(Photo is of hooded crows feeding - taken whilst I was running hence the odd angle!)
