65 yo this month and feeling the pain, have done w8r3 twice but happy with my progress. The 9 week program has taken me 13 weeks to do but happy with where I am. I will do wk9 shortly but in my own time. So happy to be where I am. Doing the Cliff Young shuffle (google it)

Excellent!I takes what it takes , the main thing is you have progressed through the program at a rate that works for you !

Well done and enjoy the last week (Or is it 🤔) 😁

“In your own time” is the only time! I’m completely with you on that, and that is the beauty of the C25k personal journey. You can push as hard as you want but listen to your body as much as you need, without the pressure of an in-real-life runner group chivvying you along. (Although that’s also useful, sometimes)

But I loved doing the C25k journey on my own because I allowed myself to progress slowly.

Snails win the day!

So huge greetings from me, the (self-crowned) Queen of super-slow-and-steady !

Love that you’re owning this… your journey, your timescale… and you’re doing great.

I am starting to use the shuffle a little now as I have a bit of a long run on the horizon… nothing measured in days though, and I’m going for running shoes, not wellies 🤣

Hopefully you’re not wearing Cliff Young wellies 😆. Great job at getting out there and doing things at your own pace. Nearly graduation time.
