Hi guys and gals, I’ve recently started c25k after being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, I was 16st (100kg) when I started, at the moment I’m 14st 10lb. Today I completed run1 of week 4, I felt awesome when my coach said I’m now running more than walking 😁, the 2nd 5 min run was difficult but so happy I completed it at my usual speed. My diet is under control now and very rarely am I having alcohol, I do use a treadmill at a gym because I find it to difficult to run outside,

If any run is difficult, you are probably pushing too hard. Slowing down to the recommended easy conversational pace makes it more achievable and for most, more enjoyable.
Counterintuitively, it is an easy conversational pace running that builds your stamina and endurance, not fast running.

That run kicked my butt too. Run 2 was much more manageable. You pushed on and did it, so you should be super proud.
