Week 3 run 2

Well it took a week to get round to Week 3 Run 2 . I just struggle to run in the week. Out by 8 for work and not home til 7 . Then dinner needs sorting so just can’t do it. I suppose once a week is better than nothing but feeling a bit of a failure . I know people will say how can you not find half hour but I can’t see how

Well done you did it.

Most of us wondered how we would fit running into busy lives, but once the bug bites, you will probably reprioritise some things in your life.

Before I started, I would never have believed that I would willingly get up at 5:30 am to go running before work.

Keep running, keep smiling.

Hi Hun5k , not knowing your situation it's hard to advise, but might any of the following be feasible?

Get up early and run before going to work.

Run at lunchtime.

Run part of your journey to or from work.

Get someone else to make dinner.

Do a super quick (omelette, pasta, etc), easy (oven tray bake - you run while it's cooking) or slow (cassseroles, or slow cooker meals - you run while it's cooking) dinner.

Eat later and run before you eat.

Don't do something else (TV, computer, whatever) and run instead.

I'm not suggesting any of that's easy - many of the above suggestions just weren't feasible for me - just that there might be options.

Hoping you find a solution!

Well done for getting out anyway. As the days get longer it might be easier to get the runs in, or you might figure out a way of squeezing a run in somewhere. Even if you can only manage one weekday run, you'll do so much better than only once a week. But if one is all you can manage, it's still better than none! Don't give up💪🏃‍♀️

Thanks, managed to get a run in this evening 👍that’s week 3 complete. Made the mistake of looking at week 4 plan. 5 mins 😱

😂 😂 Don't look! Oh no, too late😁You can do it if you've done the ones leading to it. I don't know how it works but the human body is amazing and this program uses that. It's as much a mental thing as physical.

Just remember, keep it slow and keep your shoulders relaxed and you'll be fine. That's another week done☺️✔️
