Any tips for running against a strong head wind? It was hard going today. I did it, but it wasn’t pretty. It got me thinking that there must be a technique (that I definitely haven’t mastered).

I don't know any specific techniques for running into headwinds, but a strong pumping action from your arms, as employed for running uphill, will probably help.
Maybe lean forward a bit more and lower your head slightly to stop the wind taking your breath away. Keep the posture principles laid out in this FAQ Post in mind though. healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
The other option is to turn round and run like the wind.
I like to do my warm ups against the wind, and then turn around and run with the wind behind me! 😊😊😊
I find it really annoying when I run into the wind on the way out, it changes direction and is in my face again on the way back!

There's no special technique I'm afraid - it's just much much harder. May be try shortening your stride to a pitter-patter. Apart from that ... nope!
