I've only run once in the last 9 days as I'm just so exhausted physically and mentally. But I know some of it is also down to my head space, so I decided to stop procrastinating and get on the treadmill this morning.
A 30 minute 3k - not fast not pretty, not comfortable, but doable. I'm going to do my level best to get back in the habit of running every other day to try and get myself out of this horrible funk!
I'll try and pop in bi-daily to keep me accountable...... wish me luck folks, I know you are all behind me ππββοΈπ

Good luck to you Over60'sRunner, you have now restarted running, you will very soon as you say"get yourself out of this horrible funk", gradually increase your running from once a week to at least two or three days or four if you wish to, by doing that I am sure you will be able to run a 3K or 5K in 20 or about 35minutes respectively. π ππΎ π
Well done for getting on the treadmill, I think we all have times when our motivation drops. Just gotta keep at it, the more you do, the more you want to do
Well done for moving ! It IS hard and some days... even harder. You did well. We have a cushion spare in Catch up Corner too, so if you keep popping in there, someone will always be there to share with you and help keep your running spirits up!
