Well, I finished week two, skipped a couple of days I admit, but I finished it. I think I’ll repeat it again next week. I’ve been feeling down in the doldrums, with a nasty voice in my ear saying why bother, you’re -old, you’re unfit, too fat to jog et cetera! Well, I’ve given into these voices before, but I’m determined not to do it again. I’ve got to keep on the straight and narrow and I’m determined to get to the end of this a different woman. Fingers crossed.

Why would you write yourself off at any age, when such a simple training plan can transform your fitness, your mental well-being and reduce your statistical risk of so many conditions.
Never listen to voices like that ever!Well done you for starting this and know that you will as IannodaTruffe says, do this!
Slow and steady, take it at your own pace, enjoy every moment of it. I started out at 65... now 71 and still running... currently doing Red January for MIND...
We are here to support you every step of the way.. so although you are running on your own... you will never run alone
Yup that's a nasty little gremlin infestation you've got there🎃😈🤡👹Ignore them!
I've just restarted a broken ankle to 5k (broken pelvis sounds really painful, wow!)
I started running at 60, and now that I'm restarting at 63 I've got extra aches and pains to contend with, partly age and partly still recovering. I try to give myself two rest days between runs because my body recovers better that way, so maybe instead of seeing it as a failure if you take an extra rest day, see it as you taking good care of yourself. Repeat the week as often as you like ( I repeated week 2 and week 3, but I've just joined up with a local c25k group at week 2 again )
