Hi everyone I hope you are all getting on well with your runs!
I just had a question about sweating. I’ve noticed I’ve stopped sweating on my runs now. Before I was sweating lots. Does this mean I’m not pushing myself enough?
I’m also being tested for type 2 diabetes if that makes any difference!
Thank you

Is it because its colder ?..silly question I know... or are you running slower and pacing yourself better ?. I like to run keeping my heartrate down so don't really get sweaty. Maybe you are just getting fitter
I didn’t even think of the weather my brain is not functioning well today but yes that’s probably got something to do with it!Yes I’m pacing myself better and I’m quite a slow runner! I hope it’s that I’m getting fitter!
It could be because it's getting colder because your body isn't overheating thus needs to sweat to keep cool.
This article explains in more detail which mentions that sweating and work rate doesn't collate together accurately, instead they recommend using the Borg Scale to measure exercise intensity levels.
Slower running builds your endurance and stamina just run at a pace where you can say aloud " If I can't say this sentence in one out breath, then I'm going too fast"
