Been getting a bit of pain in my right heel after running. The left one is fine. It’s not my Achilles’ tendon but lower on the actual bone. Hurts to press on it.
Does any one else use heel cups? I think that’s what they’re called.

I've heard mention but never used them myself SoosieSoo is it the fact that you're a heep striker style runner?
I think Ian meant "heel strike".
If your stride is too long and your foot is landing ahead of your hips, you'll naturally hit the ground with your heel first.
This actually causes a braking force and an associated shock up through the bones of the heel, ankle, knee and hips.
If you can, take shorter strides, land the foot under the body, and make sure the foot is landing flat or slightly towards the ball of the foot.

I’m not sure but I think I might be. Thank you for your reply
What are your shoes like?
Are they proper running shoes fitted after a gait analysis done at a specialist running shop?
If not they may be contributing to your issue.
