Today, I started week 2 and it was fun. It was a bit of a jump from 60 second runs to 90 second runs, but in a good way; I felt like I was pushing myself rather than overdoing it. It was a challenge, so there was a sense of achievement, but not so much of a challenge that I felt like I couldn't do it.
It was also my first run in the rain. Others have said how running in the rain is great, cooling them down and waking them up. I felt soggy and a little put-upon; just as I push myself a little more, the rain comes and soaks me.
Thankfully, I don't need to lose weight, so I let myself go a little with a big curry for dinner and a pint of Guinness. I think I have almost forgotten the rain, or at least decided I don't care about it any more.
