I see that that really great, you’ll be under the 30 mins shortly. 👏

If I do get under 30 minutes it probably will be at Drumpellier Parkrun, the 38.17 at week 65 was the 5K split time when I ran my 5th 10 miles run in a time of 2:04:30

Mr D really impressed with your motivation . Mr D runs 5km Sunday his quickest this week 28.57 and the 10 km when challenges on Strava or Garmin .The 10 miles really impressive. I don’t know how you don’t seem to have many injuries, you must be good at stretching, that’s what Mr D lacks in and the water drinking side.

I do stretching, also as I only run twice a week rather than the recommended 3 times a week, perhaps that's the reason, at least so far I have avoided injuries, I hope I keep hydrated, tell Mr D to drink more water to avoid dehydration.

I do plankety plank exercises BEFORE breakfast, I have a pair of 5K kettle bells, I do these exercises on my non running days, I am also a member of the Thursday morning Health Walking group, that's a 4K walk I do on much of the same route as my running 🏃🏾, after the walk we go for a cake and cup of coffee in the local leisure centre, during the winter months I go for a long walk on a Sunday morning, during the summer months and early Autumn I go a bike ride on a Sunday morning, so all in all, hopefully I'll avoid a injury.

Well done really impressed I’m exhausted just reading it 😊. You must be super fit. MrD likes the cake and cup of coffee part!! Even if the Queen told Mr D to drink more water he would still be the same maddening it is😠

I am not sure if like you MrD is a graduate of C25K, if so it is advisable to keep hydrated, I keep hydrated, but I do admit I don't drink 3 litres a day, probably about 1.I only drink coffee when outside at the leisure centre or like this morning after my 5K run I went into a nearby restaurant and had a small coffee and a doughnut 🍩, at home I drink a lot of Green Tea, they say that's better than coffee.

Mr D not a graduate just built it up on his own over the years and done 10 kms . Will keep at him. 😊

Thanks Baddie, I only posted it because there are two PB's where I run at the two parkruns I go to.

Well done! A good time. I've actually been getting slightly slower at doing my local parkrun as I get more comfortable with doing it.

Looking at your results history, you are definitely getting faster. 👍

Thanks, time or speed doesn't matter at parkruns, the main thing is that you enjoy running 🏃🏾. 😊

Despite official parkruns returning in the UK, last week more than 1000 people, including myself ran (not) parkruns as well, thanks.

Yay! 👏🏼

Don’t laugh, but I’ve only just realised that there is an actual Park Run app! 😬🤷🏻‍♀️🙄🤦🏻‍♀️😂

AlMorr profile image
AlMorrAmbassadorGraduate in reply to LottieMW

Actually LottieMW there are more than just 1 parkrun app, I have 2, one is "Parkruner", that's the one at the top of this post, after doing many (not) parkruns I only realised recently that app also records these as well, the other is simply called "5K Parkruner Results", it also records not parkruns and has my Barcode number at the top.

I found “5k results” and the one in the photo below…but that one doesn’t seem to have (not) Park Run results…can’t see “Parkrunner” 🤷🏻‍♀️
