I started C25K to help with sciatica which I’d never had before. Am 50, never been running before and at week 5 the sciatica went and I carried on and finished the plan today. Am chuffed on many levels and this forum has been a great help 😁

Keep running, keep smiling.
That is a win, win situation . Congratulations to you and celebrate your moment fully because it is a great achievement .
Congratulations on your achievement Allthegearnoidea. 👏
Congratulations. I know how proud you must feel. I too am no spring chicken & have back pain but found that running helps so much. I completed 5k in January but tested positive for Covid shortly after which put me out of action for a month & basically had to start again. Then I injured my knee which put me out for another month but now I'm back out every 2/3 days for a 20-30 minute run. Enjoy this new lease of life you have. Stick with it but don't over do it. We'll done!!!
