It’s quite amazing when you do this. It’s surprising where some runs could take me if I didn’t run circuits!
On the downside of this, I drove Mrs UNM to work before the first lockdown, the journey was almost exactly a half marathon… the fact the Mr Kipchoge could run it faster than we managed in the car was a little depressing 🤣. Thankfully that traffic is nowhere near as bad 2 years on, so if he was up for the challenge I would now beat him easily!
I have cycled around some of my running routes and yes, it's amazing to think they were run non stop .I also have a few cycle routes that one day I would like to run 😁
I was on way home from holiday on Monday, when the motorway sign said 13 Miles to Glasgow..I was amazed I had ran this distance, and my sister kept commenting "and you are still running" 🤪🏃♀️🏃♂️👏👏👏
You might find yourself looking for new running routes when driving now! Well done on your progress and so nice to be able to look at it again in a different perpective and celebrate your achievement.
Yes, avoid looking over the hedge on the right or left I find sometimes that walking a route I know and trying little changes is good for planning my next running route
