Five 30 minute consolidation runs under my belt!

I have spent the last 2 weeks enjoying my consolidation runs after hitting my 30 minute target 2 weeks ago!

The consolidation period for me has been a chance for me to push myself a bit more, I know now I can make the 30 minutes so I’ve been upping the pace (not by really thinking about it - but it’s happened naturally!)

On my first 30 minute run I recorded a distance of 4.40km at 6’49” pace.

On yesterday’s 30 minute run (consolidation run number 5) I recorded a distance of 4.75km at 6’19” pace!

It has been so rewarding to see improvement, and I can feel myself getting fitter with each run!

The plan is now to do 2 more consolidation runs this week, and next week make a start on upping the time using the consolidation club: 5km time plan.

I am so close to the elusive 5K now, and long term goals include getting to 10K… but I shall not run before I can walk!

One suggestion would be to use the Magic Plan in its "time" variation until you get to the hour, then switch to the distance variation at the distance you're doing at that point.
