Indeed "Running running in the rain" New Model Army though I prefer to be "out there having fun in that warm sun" to paraphrase Ramones. Thank you very much. I take pride in it more so this time after heart surgery.

Hey, I managed to complete C25K after not running since school and I am now 53. Feel proud of myself, never thought I could do it. Wanted to lose weight and had hit a plateau with my diet. C25K kick started the weight loss and now 20kg lighter, yay. It has been a struggle some weeks and I can honesty say I dont really enjoy it, don’t think I have hadthe runners high that people experience, but I fully intended to keep running and trying to get faster or run further. Just need to do some consolidation weeks and see how I get on. I rely love the positivity of this site and peoples honest experience, it has helped me with some of my queries so keep up the great work and thanks. Please may I have a graduation badge? Keep safe everyone
Fantastic Greendance …that’s an excellent achievement to say you haven’t run for all those years…lots of people just take up running for all sorts of different reasons & it sounds like yours has worked perfectly….no-one said it was easy, I was like a hamster on a wheel repeating week 4 all the time coz I darent move on & then I found this lovely bunch of folk, my running family as I like to call them, and they encouraged me to carry on and that I could do it…and I did!! Just like you have..& now you have a lovely Graduate badge to show off to everyone 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Whoop whoop!! Well done Goat91 …bet you never thought you’d hear yourself saying that did you???!!! Well you just did…and your badge is firmly in place…well done you!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I wondered who’s this badge was that I’ve been polishing every day…no one came to claim it but now I know I will fasten it straight on…congratulations Archiebobo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Hi,I graduated - W9R3 nine days ago and would like to get a badge as a reminder of my achievement. Please let me know how I go about getting a badge? Thanks.
Hi DeZet …congratulations on completing a 5k run…that’s quite an achievement…you’ve only got 3 more runs to complete the programme which is what the graduation badge is for…if you complete your last three runs and they end up as 5k’s that’s absolutely fantastic…so check back in with me after W9r3 & it will be my pleasure to pin your badge on for you 😉
Hello Mummycav Hope you're well. Please could I have my graduation badge for completing c25k this morning. I'm so pleased I did it. It did take me longer than 9 weeks due to initial injuries and I haven't quite managed to do the full 5k in the 30 minutes but I believe that is the norm for most graduates. Next step - doing 3 weeks of consolidation runs and hopefully doing my local parkrun when it restarts this Saturday (covid restrictions allowing). I can't wait!!!💪💪🤗🤗🥳🥳
Fantastic Jogger22 …some people do manage 5k & some don’t…I’ve never managed 5k in 30 mins but I don’t stress because 5k is just as far in 40 mins or 25mins…take it easy now, gentle consolidation runs & then the running world is your oyster!! Congratulations 🥳
Hello MummycavI finished my C25K months ago but didn't know how to claim my badge due to my lack of techno skills. I now know thanks to the helpful instructor57. So please may I have my badge as I have had to wait very patiently. Thank you.
Awww…there’s been a badge here all this time with your name on JulieByf …it’s had an extra polish everyday waiting for you to come and claim it and here you are!!! Congratulations 🥳 …I hope you’re still enjoying yourself
Well, be amazed and delighted because you have done an amazing thing…I bet those first few runs seem like a distant memory?!! Congratulations, now, show your badge off to everyone 😉🥳👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Thanks! It’s taken me a while to complete with some weeks with no runs at all. This forum has been a great way to gets tips, motivation and not feel so alone. I’m yet to enjoy running but started to help my mental/physical health and the sense of achievement is fab! Maybe the enjoyment will come …
Hi MummyCav, I’ve graduated! Week 9 run 3 is complete and I’d love a badge please!
I was never a runner. I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, had a radical hysterectomy and started the C25K journey just to build my fitness back up.
Now there’s no evidence of disease, I’m so lucky that the cancer was only at stage 1a, and I’ve managed to complete C35k!
During run 1 of week one I thought there would never be any way that I could run for 30 mins - I thought I was going to collapse after 1 min! But now I want to do more - I’m looking forward to the journey to 10K now! Something I never imagined I would do!
I don’t post on here much but I do read everything and have had some fantastic advice along the way.
Thank you to all the admins and to all in this fabulous community who help us all out every day! You have all really truly helped with my recovery! Xx
Oh wow jojo225 …you have even more reason to celebrate your achievement…what an absolute star you are…and we’re all so proud of you. What a journey you’ve had?? But strength and determination have got you through, you obviously have it by the bucket load…I remember those first few runs when I though my lungs would burst out of my chest but I found this forum and they kept me going & made me believe in myself…and now I have a whole new life of running! And so do you!!
I’m glad you’ve been a ‘lurker’ but we would really, really love to hear about how you’re running’s going so posting every now and again would be lovely if you have the time?! And now…drum roll please….your badge is securely in place…
Follow this link to join Hidden and his new graduates as I pass them over to him to continue on their journey….well done you!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Yay!!! That’s fantastic BoobzMcGee …fantastic that you’re feeling good, fantastic that the best thing has happened to you, fantastic that you’ve earned a lovely shiny badge & fantastic that you’ve shared it with all of us!! Well done…and best of luck for your 10k 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Oh no?!!! I hope it’s not long before you’ve got your replacement or your phone fixed…I can’t imagine not having a phone now, we rely on them so much don’t we?! In the meantime, here’s a shiny badge to make you smile 😊👏🏻👏🏻
I only joined a few days ago after looking for help with my running. I'm not sure if you have to do c25k the whole way through on here to receive a badge but if not, I completed it almost 5 weeks ago and still run 3 to 4 times each week. Thanks for reading. 🙂
Hi Never_too_old …I couldn’t work out whether or not you’ve done the programme…but I’ve re-read your post & I get it now…you’ve completed the programme but just not posted on here until now…so yes, you certainly have earned a lovely badge…keep posting & let us know how your on going journey is progressing…well done ✔️
Hello Mummycav, I thought I had asked you for my graduation badge (I finished my C25K 21 days ago) but when I checked my profile maybe my message didn't get through to you. We have been having problems with our Internet recently. Anyway, I would appreciate if you could check for me so I can get my badge ....many thanks and I hope your hen weekend went well!
Hi Zenta …sorry if I’ve missed your request somewhere but you’ve come to the right place! Congratulations, now you have a lovely badge to show off to everyone 👏🏻
Ooof, I know what you mean Gogreengo , I HATE running in the heat…I’m like a running raspberry at the best of times so when it’s hot I feel like my head will explode!! 🤯…running in the cold and rain is my fav. Well done on persevering & getting to the end…I’ve kept your badge out of the sun so it’s not too hot 😉 well done 👏🏻
I did it! I feel elated as I never thought I could do this when I started. I am 62, a bit overweight I admit and never the most athletic but I just did week 9/3 and covered 4.2km. Please can I have badge x
Woo hoo, well done PippinA …62 is still spring chicken age obviously!!!! I hope I’m still enjoying it when I get to that age…and who says you have to be athletic, crikey, half of the gorgeous runners on this forum would have to step down if that was the case 😉🤪 …but we are all determined…all fabulous runners & all running along together, cheering each other on 🥳 …congratulations…you are amazing 👍🏻😊😊😊
Hi Mummycav, I completed week 9 run 3 two weeks ago and wrote to you for my Graduation badge. You kindly replied saying that you would award it. I must be being incredibly stupid or looking in the wrong place or something but I can't find it. Please can you tell me where to look? I am using a web browser by the way and not just the HealthUnlocked app. I'm still running 3 times a week by the way and am working up to the 10k now but in my own time. So far I've made it to 6k in one run. Thank you for all your help. C25K is a great programme!
Hi Mummycav, hope you're well. please could you tell me where to look for my July graduation badge. I completed the programme over 2 weeks ago and did let you know. I must be looking in the wrong place or maybe I'm too impatient. 🤔Many thanks
Hi Jogger22 …if you can see the word ‘graduate’ at the side of your name, which I can, then your shiny badge is def there…if you’re using the app you won’t be able to see it as they’re not visible 🙃
Thanks Mummycav . Hope you're well. I can see the word Graduate after my name via the web not the app. So where should I be looking for my graduation badge. It's not easily apparent to me!
Hi Mummycav, I completed week 9 run 3 four weeks ago and wrote to you for my Graduation badge. at the time You kindly replied saying that you would award it. I must be being incredibly stupid or looking in the wrong place or something but I can't find it. Please can you tell me where to look?
I am using a web browser and not just the HealthUnlocked app.
I'm still running 3 times a week by the way and am working up to the 10k now but in my own time. So far I've made it to 6k in a couple of runs. I still can't quite believe that I am managing to do this!Thank you for all your help. C25K is a great programme!
Hi Sapphire_28 ….your graduate ‘badge’ is the word ‘graduate’ next to your name which you can only see online and not on the app….I can see it next to your name, it’s still shining brightly x
