Week9 Run3 Done-!Yes I did it.

I Did It!!! Completed W9R3 this morning.. Cannot believe it! In straight 9 weeks I can jog for 30 minutes.. I thought I was pushing it trying to do 8 minutes without stopping a few weeks ago!

The support, advice, guidance and encouragement on this forum has been key to helping me achieve this.

A Huge Thank You all for the posts.

The W9R2&3 have been the ones I enjoyed the most!

The downside today was that after Michael J said 20 minutes were done.. the programme paused and I only realised this when I checked - having completed 31 minutes to see why Michael wasn’t ‘speaking ‘ to me anymore.

I now need to learn to keep the momentum going and continue the runs.

Congratulations Kingfishers, it’s an amazing achievement 👏🏻👏🏻🏅🥳🥳 well done, enjoy your Graduation Day 🥂

When I graduated I felt a bit lost without my Jo’s encouragement, but I downloaded the Nike Run Club app, which was great for consolidation runs, lots of coached runs on there of various times and distances and it’s free too. You just pick the time and distance you want to do and you can still listen to your own playlist. There’s no 5 min warm up walk so you do that before you press start to begin the run. 👍

Oh Fantastic- thank you so much -I will download the Nike Run Club . I have wondered it will be strange not to have ‘Michael’ beside me!

I feel as if I’m now ‘free’ to run to the village and back!

Nuts I know- but it’s probably just equal measure of shock and pleasure in being able to achieve this. I want to be able to put running shoes on and just go out - To date I’ve been driving 6/7 minutes to the park and doing the runs at the park.

Thank you for the support - have a great day .
