So this was the run that I'd been dreading and...wow...that was tough ๐ฅต Felt great for about 13 minutes, started to burn out so I slowed down a bit and got a second wind at around 15 minutes! Powered through then started to feel a stitch coming on at 18 minutes in so the last 2 minutes I was doing a slow jog but at least I kept moving! A very active day for me today so I will enjoy a gin or 2 this evening โบ๏ธ Enjoy your Sunday you lovely bunch!
W5R3 - Doomsday: So this was the run that I'd... - Couch to 5K
W5R3 - Doomsday
Gosh well done you! Your calorie burn is way higher than mine! Even your walk. Hmm, maybe I need to walk faster.๐Well done for for powering through. Very impressive. Well oiled eh....
Thank you! I walk like I'm on a mission so I tend to be very brisk ๐โโ๏ธ Not well oiled at all ๐ a long way to go before I am at machine status. Some Eden Mill on the way to help me relax...
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, now go and celebrate with your favourite gin or 2 this evening
Vavavoom that's a great run achievement ๐
Definitely slow it down though, and banish those stitches
Thank you! Will do ๐
Congratulations and well done on pushing through ๐
Well done you! Speed is irrelevant, getting to the end of the time is the goal. Enjoy your evening, you deserve it
Well done! You can now brag that you ran for 20 minutes.
Well done but I suggest that a 'slow jog' should be your standard speed from here on in. That points to why you struggled - you were going too fast.
Anytime you're breathing too hard , slow down. Use your breathing and ability to talk as your canary-in-the-mine.
Don't be afraid to 'slow jog' - it's your friend and you'll have a far more enjoyable and relaxed C25K as a result.
I just completed w5r3 tonight too ๐Well done ๐
