I am absolutely loving running but I am suffering with pain in my lower back . I suffer with back pain anyway but its getting worse and I don’t want it to get to the point where it affects my runs. So if anyone has any advice to help It would be greatly appreciated .

Runners need good core strength so planks and bridges on a regular basis will soon sort out anything associated with that.

Will give it a go thanks for the advice 👍

Pilates is really good for core strength and stretching out your back so I’d look in to that

I got pretty bad lower back pain a week or two ago. I took some extra rest days (walking instead of running) and following Iannoda Truffe's advice daily planks and bridges (plus the odd extra core stability thing, I'll post you some links to what I found).

My back feels great now and doing those exercises was long overdue.

I'm not doing all of these, but I am doing a little every day.

I hope it helps.
