Wow 😳 week 5 run 3 complete,

Week 5 starts off as a wrestle with the SilentNight Hippo and ends like the Battle of Helms Deep - somehow I’ve finished it πŸ˜ƒ

Thanks πŸ‘, can’t believe I ran for 20 minutes, it’s a shock tho when it comes up on the app, I’m over the moon it’s the first time I’ve actually thought I could probably run 5k πŸ˜ƒ

The secret of couch to 5 k is well..... Well it's a secret!!!! But as you're a participant I'll share it with you πŸ€“, the plan works, all's you have to do is trust it πŸ’ͺ that 5k goal will be yours πŸ™‚

Yes I see it now πŸ™‚ I got to about 13 minutes and wondered how it was I was able to be doing it, it’s clear the plan works it’s just that 20 minute run is the thing that proves it to your inner voice πŸ‘πŸ˜ƒ

Ha, the Battle of Helms Deep, that's a new one on me, congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran, I am not sure if you will name that runπŸ˜€

Thanks, I wonder if w5r3 is designed to be just as much of a mental as well as a physical challenge, I feel so up for w6 now, in fact I feel up for anything, odd that running for 20mins has given me such belief, still in shock πŸ˜ƒ

You are doing very well indeed, you will definitely graduate in around 3 weeks time.

If you look at this breakdown of W5 healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you will appreciate that the enormous jump that most people seem to see at the end of W5 just does not exist.

It is all in the head. W6R1 actually catches out more people than any other run in the programme............so stay nice and slow.
