It'll be coming up to 2 years since I first embarked on my C25k journey. Whilst some of the buddies who started the journey around the same time are now running marathons, I hardly ever do more than 5k. But that's OK. This journey has been about so much more than running. It tought me that the family will survive without me for an hour and that it's OK to make time for myself. That I can do things that I never thought I could and to find the amazing effect running and fitness in general have on my mental wellbeing. I fell in love with circuit training so tend to spend more time doing that, but I still enjoy the occasional run. More importantly, if it wasn't for C25k and the support from this wonderful community, I would probably spend a lot more time on my sofa, feeling pretty miserable. So, I hope you are all well. Enjoy your journeys and thank you for all your support. (I don't contribute often, but I still do visit for the odd bit of motivation.) π πͺπ

Hello you... good to know you are still running and still staying fit, mentally and physically. Well done you!
Well hello Zebadee1! Good to hear from you and hear that youβre still running a bit! 5km is about my limit too, though I have done a couple of 10kms. Like you Iβve found the support on the forum has been invaluable, people are so kind and always happy to offer words of advice or comfort! Keep visiting!
Thank you all... I will certainly keep visiting. You're not getting rid of me just yet π
Lovely to read this and get a check in! We started around the same time and itβs great to hear how youβre doing πΈππΈ
What a lovely post and yes this is a lovely comunity π€
What a lovely post. Youβre not alone in being happy to keep on 5km, same here albeit currently sidelined by an unexpected injury (not running related) but intend to go back to maintaining 30m/5km runs. Like you this journey for me has been much more than being able to run... keep going!ππ½
