Get a higher drop shoe to run in. They will move the pressure from running further up your leg.

Brooks have many 12mm drop shoes. They also have a 90 day no quibble money back guarantee if they don’t suit you. The ghost style is very popular. But you need to know if you need support or neutral really.

Welcome to the forum.

I can't help much with your specific issue but this guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.
