I've just finished run 3 week 9. It was probably the hardest one I've done and I seem to have ended up with a sore left knee. Hopefully it will settle down overnight. Maybe leave it for a few days before the next run. I'm aiming to get to 5k in 30 minutes. I managed 4.3k on run 2 and 4.4k on run 3. If I can do the parkrun in under 40 minutes I'll be well pleased. It has a challenging uphill section thats slows you down a bit. It needs to be done 4 times.
So where do I go from here? I've been hearing about "graduation". What's that about? I shall obviously carry on to try and improve. My cardiologist was quite complimentary!
I have treated myself to a Garmin 45S as a finishing present (Amazon spring sale). So I shall be unwrapping that this afternoon.

Congratulations on graduation!!!👍👌🎉🎊🥇🏆 Well done. Enjoy playing with the ⌚. I would say personally just enjoy consolidating for a while, trying new runs etc. Have fun. There is a plan to get to 10k

Don't try for PBs every time you go out. That is a sure fire way of getting injured. To go faster you need to run longer distances and slower. You can practice short spells of running faster once a week and maybe go for a PB every two weeks or so. Do 10 or so 30 minute Consolidation runs and look up Bridge to 10K for guidance and the Consolidation club has guidance too.
Thanks for the advice. The instinct is to try to do better at every attempt. I think I'll just enjoy the next few runs and not look at the distance covered!
