Hi, I am new to the whole process and decided to start after the unexpected death of my best friend due to a cardiac arrest. So this C25K and hopefully further is for him.
Well, I could have picked a better day to start as yesterday it was cold, wet and windy. I took the view this was probably the worst conditions to start and it will get better. After i completed the run I was surprised to be pain free, plus feeling good despite being wet through. I completed the stretching exercise too, which helped all-round. Today is my rest day and I am still pain free, amazing!

Keep on keeping on. I started last May and completed after 11 weeks (had to miss 2 weeks because of injury). I now run 5 miles every other day. I never thought in a million years I’d ever be able to run that distance. Just remember to keep it nice and slow and you’ll complete the course.
Well done, I've got one run left until I finish C25K. It will get better and you'll be amazed at how you progress. I find it easier to run in the morning, get it out of the way and then you can put a tick in the box.
Hey, I am week 1 too. Sorry to hear about your friend but I'm glad you are using it to inspire you to do something positive. Not having any pain is great. I got a stitch during the warm up and it got increasingly worse with every run. However, I kept going so I feel good about that. Good luck with your next run!
