Congratulations on going to start C25K this evening and welcome to the forum, take all the runs slowly, you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to, drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration, no running on consecutive days as that could cause a injury, good luck for your running journey with C25K, keep posting here on your progress.

Welcome to the forum and well done on your decision.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.

What a brilliant decision you've made πŸ‘, we've all been where you are, you can definitely do this..

Read the below plan it's full of great advice, everything on stretches before and after running, that all important information on drinking the water staying hydrated.

The forum is a great place to keep in touch and share your journey and there's always help if you're stuck at all!

Good luck and enjoy the plan.

Lastly remember it's not a race go at your pace and be kind to yourself even after those runs that don't go to planπŸ™‚

Thank you all..I'll keep you posted..if I did find week one easy, as I'm fairly fit but struggle to run consentley (I normally do HITT sessions) but gave up smoking in December so hopping to have improved stamina..do I just follow the weeks or can I move to week two?

Follow the plan with all the runs in each week as this builds stamina and endurance. Good luck.

Well getting out the door is often the hardest, but don't stress about it. Go slow, slow and slow and you will do it. Trust the programme. And remember to let us know how you get on.
