Week 4 and I can’t stop my ankles aching

I’ve just completed week 4 run 2 but I haven’t been able to stop my ankle aching as I’m running no matter how many rest days or anti-inflammatory tablets I take. I don’t think I run particularly heavily on my left leg but I do have weak joints in general. Could this be my running shoes or my technique?
