Had a ropey run 2 this week, which gave me some apprehension about the third run, but I kept positive and thought about how the programme had not let me down yet and that because I’d completed each run so far why would this one be any different.
Didn’t let the worry of it creep in because either I would complete the run or I wouldn’t and if not I’d just try again.
I started out slowly and kept an easy pace, the sun was shining, the birds were singing and the breeze was cool. The play list was perfect and before I knew it I’d reached the end of the run.
Got my beady eye on WK6R1.... I’ve heard it’s a cheeky one that catches some out. 👀
Today is a great day folks! I’m feeling proud to have got this far and even more determined to finish the programme now.

Great work! The sunshine helps with positive attitude a bit doesn't it, especially at the moment when (for me) it's the perfect combination of sunny but cool. Enjoy next week, you'll be fine on the next run as long as you set off at a sensible pace - I must admit I loved the fact that I could now be pleased that I 'only' had to run 5 mins or 8 mins when a couple of weeks before 5 mins seemed like a massive hurdle!
Sunshine most definitely helps! Thanks for the tips about next week too... the difference in weeks progress feels unreal - I remember only a couple of weeks ago worrying about running for 5mins! But I know what you mean! Cheers 😎
well done you!! Me too this morning, same run. see you in week 6
Thanks Diabeticdaddy yeah I think I overheated on run 2 this week I just wore too many layers. But lesson learned from it!Yep - onwards and upwards is right... week 6 is calling! 😎
