Pottering along in the sun

I graduated some weeks ago, but my consolidation runs aren't all they should be. I do manage 30 mins at least once a week, but my pace means I cover no more than 3.2km. Other times we do 3 x 5 mins, or 2 x 15, or 3 x 10. I'm sorry to tell you that the sun always shines here and I have a couple of nice places to run and like dodging camels. Stay safe all of you in the UK! Things will get better

I do 30 minutes 2 to 3 runs a week and am trying to lengthen my weekend run to 60 minutes. I can tell you, yesterday for example I reached 3,18 km in my 30 minute run. So no worries about the pace. Better slow and keep running, than fast and stop running 😉

At this stage just running regularly is one of the most important things to do, to create and hopefully maintain the habit.

You can build duration and speed later on, if you wish, but keeping moving is the best thing you can do for your physical health.

Wow what a photo! Do camels just roam free in Ethiopia? You are getting out anyway and enjoying your runs, whatever the speed or distance is what it's all about! Happy camel dodging!☺️

I guess the discussions on the forum over winter regarding, "how many layers, should I wear" hold no interest for you! You can give us all a lot of advice in the summer though. Think of us next week The forecast is for widespread snow, even here darn sarf.
