Newbie here, despite being in week 5! I’m loving the running at the moment. In fact I can’t believe I have made it to week 5 already, as usually I’m one of the first to give up if I have to put an effort into anything.
I have the first run under my belt(yesterday) and the second one to do tomorrow. The one thing that I have noticed is how my mental health has improved over the last 5 weeks. Obviously it’s the endorphins in action but I’ve never really noticed the impact when I have done other forms of exercise in the past. To get to 5k will be such an achievement as to be honest even in my fitter, younger and slimmer days I can’t recall running to 5k without stopping on numerous occasions. Anyway this was just a post to say hi and good luck to everyone else 👍🏻

Don't forget that C25K is actually misnamed. There's no target of getting to 5km at the end. All you need to be able to do is to jog for 30 minutes continuously on three different days.
But Couch-to-Thirty-Minutes isn't quite as snappy.
Most of us didn't get to 5km by the end of week 9, and some of us [cough... blush] probably shouldn't have aimed for doing 5km on the final run.
