Just completed week 5 run 3. I was dreading it and I was right, mentally it was the toughest run so far for me. I expected it to be easier than it actually was. But on the other hand just one month ago I was out of breath after 1 minute of running. So mixed emotions, kind of proud but I suppose it will not get any easier.
W5R3 done: Just completed week 5 run 3. I was... - Couch to 5K
W5R3 done
Hey Twiggy Well Done, you did it! Don't be so hard on yourself...you ran for 20 minutes. Thats a fantastic achievement. You should definitely be proud. Keep it up 🏃👍
Yay TwiggyL! That’s brilliant, you nailed it 👏🏼😀. Mentally this is a tough one. Just hold on to what you say, that one month ago you were out of breath after a minute. Now look at you 👍👍👍.
Thank you. Now after shower and coffee feeling positive and looking forward to week 6 😃.
Well done TwiggyL, you have done so well. See how far you have come since Week 1 , you deserve to be proud of yourself. Imagine just running for 1 minute only - see, what a boring thing that would be to do !! 😏. I am sitting in my kitchen just about to do my warm ups for W4R2 - fortunately all the snow from yesterday has gone.
You will smash it!
I did too !! Enjoyed the 5 minute runs - felt as if I was relaxing into a easy stride for the first time. I practiced the sentence iannoda truffle said to say and I could say it without being out of breath so my speed must be ok (slow). I have my appointment on Friday for trainers 😁
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, you are doing very well indeed 🏃🏾👍Onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊
Thank you! I have seen comments about week 6, but was not sure what people actually mean. I run with metronome in order to pace myself and not burn out too soon.
Well done, I'm only on my 2and run of week 2 so really looking forward to getting to where you're at. Great inspiration
You will! Honestly, on my first week I got a lot of adrenaline but never imagined I would be able to run. Mind over matter 😄
