Post partum body, biggest I've ever been, lockdown, shielding for a year.....
Running? Oh god. So I'm week one and two runs in. It's hard, i keep telling myself it will get easier. And that the pounds will come off and I will start to feel better about myself and my overall mood will come too.
Please tell me others feel just alittle like this.....
Random rant over.

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.
Many people struggle but usually because they are running too fast. You need to be able to speak clear ungasping sentences aloud as you run.........if you cannot, you are going too fast.
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Enjoy your journey.
Don't run too fast, you may think you are running slow, but you are not. As IannoaTruffe said, you have to be able to speak full sentences while running. If you can't, then you're running too fast. Slow down and then slow down some more. It may very well be that means you have to run slower than you can walk, so be it! Be a snail! Speed can come after you finished the program. First it is following the program and if you run slow, you have a better chance at success than when you run too fast. G'luck!!
You can do it. By the end of week one you’ll be so so proud of yourself and you’ll keep going because you’ve made a start and you know what - you did week one - that’s more than doing nothing!! Well done, you’re doing amazing already 👏
