On consolidation run 20 and I've managed to run for one whole hour and complete 7k - SLOWLY, but I'm making progress, YIPEEEE π€Έπ€Έπ€Έ- pretty unbelievable as I couldn't run for 60 seconds at the beginning of C25K. Completed 21 miles this month towards my 35mile challenge at Race at your pace for January. I'm on a roll now!!!
7k - one hour of running YAY π±- the first 59 ... - Couch to 5K
7k - one hour of running YAY π±- the first 59 minutes were the hardest!
Well done......... but I think you have misunderstood the meaning of "consolidation" as used on this forum. We recommend that consolidation runs do not increase distance, duration or pace, in an effort to become comfortable with the level that you have achieved, in most cases here, during C25K.
I think the term for your run is a run.
Haha!- I wondered exactly WHEN I could stop marking them as 'consolidation' runs- I guess it just kept me going mentally - so, from now on I'll just say I've been for a 'RUN'- π
Super well done π π
Thank you so much - I'm pretty astounded!
Running for an hour is magical, π
Unbelievable, I'm amazed at my increased stamina - onward (slowly) towards 10k now.
Well do one πDon't forget to claim your 60minute graduate badge on the bridge to 10 forum π
Well done Teresa, that's another big hurdle you've got over, i bet your chuffed with that! π and getting closer to your 35 mile challenge too.Maybe you'll do what i did, went from 7 to 10k, forgot about 8/9 π€£ but like you say, 60 seconds of running, was hard work for most of us, not long ago, and now look at us, and another badge next to your name. π₯³π
