Week 8 run 1 ✅. So I did the first 25 on the slower speed then upped it to regular job for the last 3 and then added another 4 mins at the faster speed so the time reached 35 because it stopping at 31 seemed weird to my eye 😂. Walked for 2 mins then did another 3 mins run at the faster speed before walking the last 3 mins.
So total run in one go was actually 32 mins and run amount was 35mins with 10 of that being at the ‘faster’ pace .
I’m so happy about breaking the 30 mins barrier because in my mind I never thought I’d be able to run 30 mins continuously ever and set that as a target last year before the world went crazy! So to achieve that just 2 days shy of my goal is soooooo motivating!
And while I have you all 😂 do you guys think that achieving a 10k run by the year out is a realistic goal..? I’m still not reaching distance with the 5k which will be my next step after graduating the c25k programme.
Anyway hopefully 2021 we will see happier days again. X
