I'm on week 7 and up until now I've walked about 6,000 steps on non run days. I didn't see walking among the suitable exercises for those days. Is it too much stress on the same muscles now the runs are non stop?

I'm not knowledgeable about it, but I don't think it is too much. Walking strains the muscles in another way than running does. Walking is a very good exercise on the off days. And knowing that a lot of people strive to get 10.000 steps a day, I don't think 6.000 steps is all that much 🙂

No that’s fine. I do that much at work so it’s unavoidable.

Walking is considered non impact exercise and it is only too much if it is negatively impacting on your running.

I was going to ask the same question. I've become obsessed with doing my 10,000 steps a day since I got y Garmin and was starting to question if I was doing too much. Thanks.
