I’m on week 7 and until now all has been going well - very hard work but on the whole I’ve felt ok. Week 7 I’ve hit a problem - I managed Run 1 but at the halfway point I started to feel sick - very nauseous - I managed to do whole run but it was very unpleasant. Today I did run 2 - exactly the same happened and I had to stop briefly and walk twice. I didn’t feel I was over doing it or going too fast. I hadn’t eaten anything as I like to go out first thing. Any advice? It is really taking any sort of pleasure out of the experience.

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.Because it happened on two runs does not mean it is going to happen on every run from now on.
Can you speak aloud, clear, ungasping sentences as you run?.........if not, you are going too fast.
Did you wait a reasonable time after last eating?
Were you well hydrated?
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Enjoy your journey.
Thanks for that. I don’t think I was going too fast (to be honest it would be hard to go slower!) Hadn’t eaten - first thing in morning run but I had had a cup of tea. I definitely can’t talk when running - that’s my goal!

Definitely slow down. Your goal is not to run 5km but to jog for 30 minutes.
If you're not drinking at least 2.5-3 litres of fluid a day and are running, you may well be getting dehydrated. I got terrible stomach cramps after runs until I realised this.
