I did this run on the treadmill at the gym, it was boring but better than outside in the cold, any advice on treadmill running?

1. Forget the incline advice.2. Don't forget to include your 5 min (minimum) warm-up and cool-down walk.
3. Use podcasts, music, TV shows etc to stave off boredom - they can make the time fly-by.
4. Think about doing intervals to make things more interesting, e.g. the three C25K+ podcasts: Stamina, Speed and Stepping Stones.
Thanks will look at the interval training 👍
If you have a tv/ screen search virtual runs on YouTube. It goes much nicer if you can pretend you're somewhere outside that's nice. I don't mean the cgi ones, there a lots that real runners put up. Oldfloss has some great snow ones that she likes to use.

Treadmill running is much tougher mentally as there's no real stimuli.
Some Treadmills have set hill patterns, this can shake things up a bit and make it more interesting.
Virtual runs😀 amazing !!!
I have a treadmill, but I really dislike running on it. It feels much more difficult for me, also because you are forced to run continuously at a set pace. While outdoors your pace is what your body wants.
What temperature is it with you? Here it was yesterday 1°C but I loved it. Years ago I had also started running, but I stopped when it grew cold. Now I started when it was growing colder and I have to say to my own surprise that I actually like running in the cold! Just wear good clothing, a buff for your breathing, gloves, ...
Cheers!
I played netball for many years through the winter and enjoyed it, but as I’ve got older fair weather activities for me 😂.
