Have just completed Laura's stepping stones podcast, full of useful tips and encouragement and I managed to keep to the beat. Even enjoyed it! But I ran a shorter distance. Anyone else had that experience or suggest why?

Well Done for completing C25K. I used the C25K+ Stepping Stone podcast when I graduated and like you I didn't run any further and the advice here is that your body will get used to running and you will get faster over time.

I used the Stepping Stones podcast for about 10 runs and did notice a gradual improvement then I switched to run with the Stamina podcast, I have yet to try the Speed podcast, and it wasn't until my last few runs that I managed to run 5K.

All the advice here is to start steady with 80% of your running at a slower pace to reduce the risk of injury and over time you will start to notice that you are improving. Keep up the good work.

Thank you, that's helpful. I'll carry on with stepping stones as i felt my running style improved. And I won't be too concerned with distance for now.
