After finally completing W5R3 at the 11th attempt on Tuesday, I was worried when someone said that W6R1 often catches people out as it goes back to intervals. But I did it, with no problems! I thought I'd even gone a bit faster overall, as I was much nearer home when the final 5 minutes walk started, but then realised that the running/walking adds up to more than 20 minutes so I hadn't actually gone any further in the equivalent time. Never mind. I'll be interested to see how the next run pans out on my 'weekend route' which I don't do in the week because there's too much school traffic.

Hi Rising60 ...firstly, well done on getting so far in the programme...secondly, please don’t put any pressure on the time or distance you’re covering...as long as you’re doing the runs you are doing everything right..distance and time are something that you can work on when you graduate, getting through the programme is your focus at the moment...good luck with your future runs 😉
