Week 4 completed, after a small delay...

I attempted W4R1 according to schedule, around two and a half weeks ago. On that run, I managed to inhale a fly, which scuppered the first 3 minute run. I then got the worst cramp ever in the first 5 minute run causing me to stop and walk again, and managed to misjudge a puddle and immerse my foot up to the ankle, soaking my shoe and sock for the rest of the session.

Needless to say, I felt very disheartened, and life got in the way of the next sessions, so to keep going (and to tot up the KMs for a virtual challenge I was doing at the same time) I did random run-walk segments over the next couple of weeks.

Fast-forward to this week! I had a clear week, and clear weather, to give Week 4 another shot. All three sessions were done during my lunch time, and this time I ticked them all off. Job done!

I am enjoying this so much; taking some time for myself out of the working day at home and feeling the crisp autumn air in my lungs - you can't beat it. Bring on Week 5!

Well done, but please tell me that you didn't do three C25K workouts in one lunch break.

Imagine! No, I've simply found that a lunch break run appears to work in my favour. :)

Well done you. We need the bad days to enjoy the good. But you did take that to the extreme lol. X

Well done Helm108, it sounds like the odds were stacked against you, but you came back in style to complete Week 4. I agree with you, breathing that crisp Autumn air is great 👍 not sure I could run during my lunch break, I prefer to go out at 6am and run before work.....Good luck for week 5 🏃‍♀️
