Today my run was powered by my mother in laws home made Parkin. And very yummy it was too.

W7 R2 one more to go this week ....It was a wet one today, running through a slippy woods is getting harder and harder, especially when you have to navigate round all the kids enjoying half term. Bet me “jogging” toward them panting like a donkey mid climax scared them half to death... poor buggers

As I did my 5 minute cool down walk I did start to wonder how on earth I’m going to be able to add on another 3 minutes next week.... then I realised, I could just eat an extra bit of Parkin 👍🏻

My mother in laws is particularly good :) and a must at this time of year!!! It’s incredibly calorific x

Panting like a donkey mid climax 🤔 that would definitely scare the poor buggers off 😂😂 well done on completing W7R2, HattieCooke 👏🏻👏🏻you won’t have any problems with that extra 3 minutes, just think of it as a short song and the time will fly by 🏃‍♀️👍

I too had to look up Parkin, it sounds delicious but as I am following a keto diet it will have to stay in my imagination for now.

I am only one run ahead of you HattieCooke and I have also considered a further time lift and decided that I have faced and succeeded with a couple of 25% time lifts already and this one from 25 to 28 is only a 12% lift, so half as hard. So if we can do 25% I am sure we can both do 12%.

Keep running, we can do this.

I’m meant to be on a diet, but the temptation was just too much...

I didn’t know about the % increases. Defiantly helpful to try break down my head demons xxx

Hi Hattie...another fab photo😁.

Parkin..maybe that's what I need for a bit more oomph. I usually snail through a common and yep it's getting slippier 😕. Did my last run on pavement and felt great that I'd run out in the street, amongst all those pedestrians ..who weren't !!! Interested in watching my marathon attempts...I'm still very self conscious, silly I know, but hey ho. It's getting too soggy to run on grass/mud now for me. 🤣😂🤣😂 Got the picture in my head now of the panting donkey mid climax🤣😂😂 . W7R1 later today for me. Hey...you WILL manage that extra few mins....we've got this far. 👍👍👏👏🏃‍♀️🙋

I do the first bit of my run on the pavement (when I’m not red and sweaty) but then go into the woods to hide lol... I was thinking about starting to run in the evening on the path, but given the time of year and my size, people may get a little scared and confuse me with a Halloween gooley...
