Hi,

Interested in how far the total workout should week one take? Are you supposed to do a total of 5k by running and walking ? My first 2 runs with warm up and down was only around 3.5k for each session

Thanks

Please read the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

There is no defined pace or distance to cover as C25k is purely based on duration.

Only a small proportion of graduates from this forum who responded to a poll, managed 5k in 30 minutes by graduation healthunlocked.com/couchto5....

Graduation requirements are that you complete three thirty minute runs, regardless of distance.

Thank you....was not sure if I had just done it really slowly

No don't think that is the aim at all, some people will run further than others just stick to what is being asked of you on the app and take one run at a time the distance side of it only comes into play towards the end of the app

I wouldn’t bother thinking about distance at all until after you have graduated. This is all about building up to running for 30 minutes. 😄
