Don't rain on my parade

About to run W8R2 at 6am tomorrow and it could be the first of the 23 workouts conducted in the rain. Amazing, I know! Is it a coincidence or is there generally less chance of rain early in the morning?

I have wondered about this too.

Before I started on C25k I spent about 9 months walking (daily) in the early mornings and very seldom got rained on. It is also calmer in the mornings if you ask me. Not sure about the science but that has been my experience.

No rain this morning either but it started soon after. The other advantage to an early morning run is I feel less self conscious and there are less obstacles in the form of moving cars, dogs and their walkers.

I am only on Week 2 Run 2 but am planning on going out about 07:30 ish tomorrow morning as well. Could be fairly torrential as well! I just have to get it done as otherwise the whole schedule will be out and that's when I start to get out of the habit.

I enjoyed the rain today, cooled me down and kept me going. I'd say even if it's raining just go for it! Ya can only get so wet 🤣
