I always find the first run (or first 5 minutes) the hardest, but overall it felt good today and I can definitely feel my fitness improving. It's easier for me when my mind wanders and I don't think about my running - yesterday evening I had monkeys in the trees to distract me.

Yeah I enjoy it when my mind drifts! Dosnt happen often but it's nice when it does. I find the worst thing is when I snap back to reality after a drift and start thinking about mundane things like breathing and then completely forget how to breath like a normal person! 🤣 Like oh my god how have I done this breathing thing 24 hours a day for 42 years! It's so complicated 🤣🤣🤣 thankfully it tends not to last too long.
