I said it to my GP today, she called me regarding some meds for depression and anxiety. I said, yes, that's all fine but also, please refer me to the podiatrist as I need my new insoles fitted again this year, I can't afford to hurt myself and not to run. "Running is my medicine"

Running is your medicine, well said StarkeyGo, in some medical centres they have posters in the waiting room promoting 'health walks' C25K and running, I hope that your runs and walks will help you with your depression and anxiety.
Well said! I suffer from depression and anxiety, too. I’ve been out running when I’ve had little sleep and feel exhausted and emotional, but within 10 minutes I focus on the run and feel calmer. It’s helped me so much I’m going to take up cycling as well. So glad it’s helping you! 🥰
