So my goal for the day was to go for my first run after work.
I worked this weekend and must say I did feel tired but I really wanted to fit another run in this week. I felt much better after my run but I did not enjoy it as much as I do when I go on my days off as I feel a lot fresher and enjoy the scenery more. I was 22 seconds slower than my run on Friday but still pleased with my time 33 minutes 41 seconds.
I very much enjoyed my roast dinner after my run!!

My alarm goes off at 6 and I get straight out of bed before my brain can tell me not to! If I’m doing a long run, I go downstairs immediately and have half a banana and make up a drink to take with me. Heaven knows what I do for the rest of the time before I leave 😂
Well done 9weeks2Run running after work is tough but you did really well, 22 seconds is nothing. I bet you did enjoy that well earned roast, I enjoy my food after a run too, gives you a great appetite 👍
Well done on your run/time🎉Ive always been an early bird so find it difficult to run later in the day, thats far too much time to talk myself out or it😂😂😂
I like to do my runs early and before I go to work as I feel energised for the day ahead and sometimes I do feel like not going out of bed on run days and I'm so glad I did once I'm in my running gear ready to start. Always best to have a goal and keep on rewarding yourself. Well Done
