Today I ran my 3rd run since graduating.

Tuesday was particularly hard and not very enjoyable, today was more comfortable.

I'm still running with my coach which I though would help but I know exactly what shes going to say and when and I think I'm now finding that off putting. I might try a different coach, just to change things up a bit. I still want the safety of someone in my ear before I go it alone

I too feel the need to have a coach in my ear, and might do for some time. 😬

And I like the virtual cheers etc at the end of w9r3 so call me childish, but I’ll keep doing that one I think πŸ˜‚

Well done on your consolidation runs. If it's any help, I'm finding mine a bit up and down too but people have been saying to expect that at this stage. I also like the reassurance of the coach, more for keeping time than anything else so I'd say let go and go solo whenever you feel you want to πŸ™‚

I'm currently doing stuff that's not in the c25k programme, so have been using my watch to prompt me. (I'm currently around the exertion level of week 4 but using shorter intervals.)

I guess its trial and error, finding what works for you.

I k ow I still want someone in my ear, just want a different voice I think to vary it 😁

Try strava lovely- it gives you audio cues (I set mine to every 500m but you can set to what you prefer)

Then you can just enjoy your run and your music πŸ‘ŒπŸ’•

That’s exactly what I’m doing since graduation.

tbh I had found the longer silent intervals towards the end of the programme a bit disconcerting. At least the 500m cues are more frequent and regular and the pace cue indicates whether you’re maybe running too fast.

Yet I might look at the Nike thing too.
