Really happy that the weather was good this morning for me to finally complete the programme. It has taken me longer than the 9 weeks to finish but I guess that doesnβt matter. As I hadnβt run for almost 2 weeks, I did feel like I was a little bit slower. I managed 3.82km in the 30 mins with a pace of 7.55km so I am very happy considering the year I have had, my on going treatment and that I couldnβt run at the start.!!
It really is a fantastic program.
Whatβs next? I can see talk of consolidated runs? So is it ok for me now to just run πββοΈ once a week? I cycle too to keep up my fitness?
I dedicate this run to my dear friend Sarah who sadly lost her fight with cancer yesterday. She was a great runner and a truly lovely person. I am so sad at the moment but know she would have been very proud of me completing & achieving this.ππππ

Iβm thinking of you - so sorry for your loss x
Go and rightfully claim your βgraduateβ badge next to your name and.... bloody well done! ππ x
Thank you so much. We supported and worried about each other through our treatments for the last year or so. Definitely left a hole in my heart but I know Sarah would not want me to be sad. So I will try not to be. π’
Well done Angie.... so very pleased that you have graduated... it is an emotional run anyway and sure would have been x10 for you.
What a lovely thing to do to dedicate to your friend, so beautiful. I am so sorry for your loss though too. What a remarkable thing to do, to still feel like getting up and out. Hats off to you.
Congratulations on your graduation. A fully fledged runner now. Hope you wear your badge with pride! π π€π
I also wrote earlier, don't know where it went....
I am so sorry, heartbreak is so painful. Hopefully we can help keep you going, it's such a lovely group, so.always shout up if we can help in any way.
I also said that I would stay with the same frequency that you have been running at, where you can. They say you keep your form for 2 weeks and then after that it starts to reduce, but only slowly. I think for you, anything you do is amazing so just do what you can when you can xx
Congratulations on your graduation, you have lots to be proud of. And so very sorry to hear about your friend, I'm sure she would have been/is very proud of you too . X
So sorry about your friend Sarah, she would have been so proud of you.
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 9 and graduating from C25K π ππΎ π

Congratulations Angie09, what an amazing achievement, sorry to hear that you lost your close friend, Iβm sure she would be extremely proud of you, well done. You can do your consolidation runβs as often as you like, I run twice a week and sometimes on the weekend. The Nike Run Club app is very good for those, free coached runs of various times and distances......ππ»ππ»π π₯³π₯³
So sorry this is a bit belated, Iβm just sitting down and catching up.
Many congratulations π you are such an inspiration but so sorry to hear about your friend Sarah. Such a lovely thing to dedicate your grad run to her, she would be so proud of you βΊοΈ
Thank you. Yes she would have been. Just so sad I didnβt get to share the experience with her. If only I had started running sooner ...........???? But then I have been unwell me self. ππ€xx
