So happy to write this post.. I never thought when I started this journey, that some 12 weeks later (few extra for injuries) I would be announcing that I've completed this challenge!
What an amazing journey.. I've (virtually) met so many truly lovely, kind people and have done something I would never have thought possible.. run continuously for 30 minutes... get me!
I have so much more self-belief than I had, even half way through this programme.. There were days I procrastinated so much I'd rather have cleaned the oven with a toothbrush than go out on my run - mainly for fear of failure/it's too hard. BUT, this programme keeps you on track, it keeps you focused and motivated and the forum is a great way of meeting like-minded people to talk through all those insecurities and by the time you go back out, that boost is enough to get you out of the door and OH WHAT A FEELING to come back and tell everyone you did it!
Thank you to my guys who have been here for me throughout.. know who you are !
My next challenge is to try and get to 5K, the most I have managed is 4:10k in 31 minutes... Today as you can see I did 3:75k but my pace was best yet so fingers crossed I'll start doing better..
To everyone just starting out, believe in this programme, trust in the methodology and enjoy the journey.. if you follow the advice, you'll be running for 30 minutes, you will!

Fantastic! I'm two weeks behind you and struggling in this autumn weather and daylight hours. But I'm determined to finish...... Good luck heading for the 5k🤞
You can do it! Don’t procrastinate is my tip.. just get yourself out there, rain or shine. It’s the wind that is the hardest but rain is actually quite refreshing! Good luck and keep going!!! 🏃♀️
Thanks, you too as I notice you also graduated recently.. well done to us all 🥳. Yes need to maintain the discipline for those consolidation runs!! 🏃♀️
