Woke up early and felt a little excited about my penultimate run before the graduation run! Was a little chilly outside so donned a fleece.. mistake, got very hot.. must remember not to wear too much as these longer runs I get so hot!
I got so hot I had to take off my fleece mid-run, which is an over-the-head jobby.. a big liability as my darned cordless ear pod fell out on the floor so I had to stop running (I know!!!!) and retrace my steps in walk to find it.. it's an Apple one so very precious!!! I defo need one of those band things to stop them falling out...will get on that! Anyway I found it, thank goodness! Popped it back in and off I went again.
Because of that, I ran for 32 mins to make up for the stop and so chuffed to have got 4:10k on the clock!!! So excited to have run 4:10k. My one big question is, how on earth am I going to run 5k in 30 minutes?? ๐คทโโ๏ธ. Yikes!!!!
Last run tomorrow, omg... I cannot believe it!!!

Sussex13 that 30min 5k is within touching distance ๐ C25k brings the runner out of all those who try it .....
Well done Sussex! ๐ The clothing dilemma has become the biggest drama of running now hasnโt it?! ๐ฅถ๐ฅต
Cracking time, well done! I think with these solid timings weโll be doing 5K fairly soon ๐ A few more runs of 30mins for confidence and then we can start to work towards that cheeky milestone marker.
Canโt wait to see you cross that finish line tomorrow, Iโll be thinking of you!
Well youโve got to start somewhere! I may do our local Park Run course during consolidation. Obviously including the walking...and to just walk the extra distance until I complete it ๐
It will be a yardstick, to measure later runs against. I have a time from when Iโve only walked the course too ๐
That is a brilliant idea! Park Run course.. I always wished I could to the park run like โproper runnersโ ๐. I will head up there and have a go round the course.. again I believe there are hills (๐ญ) but.. nothing ventured nothing gained!!! ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
Thanks so much, and how inspiring to read your post about getting out 3 times a week and doing 5k, thatโs amazing ๐คฉ. Hope I can stay motivated to do that! ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
Well done... I did my last run yesterday and I toyed with putting a snood on and some gloves, soooo glad I didnโt as I got very warm and it would have been distracted taking them off !
Your pace is super good, Iโm just under 4K ( not including the warm up/warm downs). Donโt worry about 5k the programme really is about running non stop for 30 mins which you are smashing.
I will be aiming to increase my pace so I can reach 5k ๐.
Brilliant, congratulations ๐ฅณ on your graduation!! Such an achievement, am going to do my best today. Weather is pants outside.. windy and raining! Oh well.. start of things to come through the winter! ๐ง. Hope you are basking in your glory of graduating, so good!! ๐
Well done Sussex, only one to go.....so excited for you ๐ thatโs a good distance, you should be really chuffed with that ๐ Iโm sure youโll be doing 5k in no time at all. Iโd hoped to finish on Saturday but am resting my dodgy ankle ๐am so disappointed as really wanted to get this done but guess graduation will wait!
Looking forward to seeing your graduation post ๐
